Vinyasa Yoga

We are pleased to announce that we will now be offering Vinyasa Yoga at Louisville Aikikai. Natalie Knudtson will be teaching yoga on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm and Saturdays from 1-2 pm. Children's yoga will be taught on Saturdays from 12-12:45 pm. The cost of these classes is only $10 for adults and $5 for children, which is very affordable. As more people participate in these classes she will add more class times. She will also be adding specialty classes like prenatal yoga. Below is a quick biography of her background.

Natalie discovered yoga in 2015 after walking past a sign promoting a yoga studio down the street from her apartment in New York City. Natalie immediately fell in love with yoga and began practicing consistently for a year when she decided to quit her NYC job in Property Management to become a yoga teacher. She earned her 200 hour yoga certification at Sonic Yoga in New York City. Shortly after completing her certification, Natalie moved back to Louisville, eager to start teaching. She now teaches yoga to students with movement disability, corporate yoga, and prenatal yoga, but her emphasis is on teaching a vinyasa style yoga which allows the movements to connect with the breath. Natalie takes pride in carefully sequencing her vinyasa classes, creating fun and unique flows that challenge, her students while balancing the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga helps create balance in the lives of its practitioners and Natalie has experienced first-hand how yoga can calm the mind and bring internal peace and healing. Natalie also offers breathing techniques, known as pranayama, that aid in creating a calm mind, relaxation, anxiety relief, improved insomnia, improved digestion, and much more! Yoga, meditation, and pranayama can help bring balance to the mind, body, and spirit.
